About
This exhibition showcases new photographic work by London based artists Martina O'Shea and Tara Li-An
The exhibition is hosted by the Sailmakers Collective - A new online platform
Tara and Martina's both work with the photographic process in different ways: Martina uses alternative processes of image making, predominantly the chemigram process- monochromaticc shadows and ethereal landscapes are at play.
In Tara's black and white photography, she explores the dynamic between "narrative" and the image - transgressing formal portraiture. Whilst her interest in the shadow self and the earth's energy work into her more experimental pieces.
