Works from Revolve:R, edition two
Is a multidisciplinary, international collaboration – curated by Sam Treadaway and Ricarda Vidal – exploring a transmission of ideas via visual artworks, poetry, films, music, and bookwork editions.

About

R:R will showcase a selection of works from Revolve:R, edition two including limited edition prints, spoken word poetry, short films, a musical score, and the edition two bookwork publication. Revolve:R is a multidisciplinary and international collaboration, based on visual correspondence, exploring a transmission of ideas, via physical and tactile forms of communication such as the postal service and book as well as a parallel interplay online. Initiated in 2011 Revolve:R is curated by Sam Treadaway and Ricarda Vidal, and produced by Sam Treadaway. As a multidisciplinary site and source for exchange and experimentation the project actively supports early to mid-career practitioners through the publication, exhibition, and promotion of their work. With a strong focus on collaborative practice, Revolve:R also facilitates communications between national and international arts communities, transcending geographic and linguistic boundaries, and aims to be a vehicle for new and responsive artistic dialogue and interaction. Revolve:R edition two includes works by 39 artists from 9 countries and was published in 2015, as an edition of /60 copies, by Arrow Bookworks. The project to date has been supported by galleries, universities, and arts organisations in the UK, USA and Europe. Revolve:R edition three is due to be published in 2017.
