About
Milan, Lambrate. On Friday 15 October, at Ferraina Archive a photographic exhibition dedicated to the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park in 1969 it opens.
The Hyde Park concert represents a milestone in the history of music.
It is July 5th 1969, the Rolling Stones have not performed in public for more than two years, since the beginning of '67. Hyde Park is completely packed with young people, about 500,000 spectators attend this pioneering event in the history of Rock which in fact takes place a month before Woodstock.
Mick Jagger reads two of Shelley's stanzas and dedicates them to Brian Jones, founder of the band, who died just two days earlier.
