About
“Roger Tallon, Design in Motion” explores every facet of his personality and work, now possible thanks to the archives he donated to the Musée des Arts Décoratifs before he died in 2011. During his 60-year career, he forged a radically new approach to design, rooted in the world of industry yet open to every domain of contemporary creation. The legacy he left us is still part of our everyday lives: we travel on the Corail and TGV Duplex, we enjoy the unchanged graphics of the Art Press magazine and use emblematic creations such as the Module M400 spiral staircase, the 3T tableware and the Téléavia P111 portable television. The exhibition highlights all these aspects of his work, featuring the objects themselves and his drawings and models for each project.
