Including recent works by Roger Palmer and Jeremy Wafer, 'Latitude' and 'Tropic' are separate projects with a shared concern around questions of visual (mis-)representation, land, territory and cultural difference. Photographic works by both Wafer and Palmer map or trace geographical locations along the Tropic of Capricorn, questioning what the photographic image can tell us about variations in topography and different indigenous and colonial histories.
