theprintspace are pleased to announce the opening of a new exhibition featuring the works of
Richard Waite, entitled Terra Firma. This exhibition marks the second installation of this body of
work, following an acclaimed residency at Beetles + Huxley gallery.
The exhibition with accompanying book, is the culmination of over 10 years work, and is a profound study of some of the most extraordinary, remote and breathtaking landscapes on Earth.
About
This globe-spanning project began when Richard was commissioned by Guy Hands, Chairman of Private Equity firm Terra Firma, to produce a large-scale artwork for the lobby of their new London office, to encapsulate the feeling of Terra Firma. Since then, Richard’s stunning landscape photography has constituted the visual identity of Terra Firma on their website and quarterly reports.
Richard Waite is a London based international photographer. During his career spanning over 30 years, he has applied his distinct style and aesthetic across disciplines as diverse as portraiture, interiors, architecture, travel and Fine Art. His work has been featured in titles such as: the Sunday Times, the Guardian, Observer, Independent and Telegraph magazines, Condé Nast Traveller, House & Garden, Vogue, Tatler and GQ.
theprintspace gallery, will host a comprehensive collection of large-scale, fine art artworks, all of which are available for purchase via the exhibition gallery hosted on theprintspace’s dedicated online art-sales platform thehub.
