Respond! takes place in June 2009 to highlight and celebrate a month of nationwide events, exhibitions, talks and projects that demonstrate the arts' engagement with environmental issues. Organised by the RSA Arts & Ecology Centre in association with BASH, Respond! builds on the agenda of World Environment Day on 5 June. Respond! presents activity happening across the UK's galleries, museums, theatres and other arts venues online at www.respond09.org where visitors are able to discover some of the most exciting contributions from artists who are responding to the way we think about our environment and the challenges and concerns which affect its future.
