Hala is a visual artist currently living and working in Brighton. Born in Fulham, London, she showed an aptitude for art at a young age. After finishing school she completed a Foundation Diploma in Applied Arts from London College of Communication in London, and went on to further study a Higher National Diploma in Fine Art at Kensington & Chelsea College. She moved to Brighton in 2011 and graduated with a BA (hons) in Fine Art Printmaking at the University of Brighton in 2014.
Hala’s work is driven mainly by her endless fascination with nature, spirituality and mysticism. Her practice is a journey of constant learning and discovery, engaging with mysterious phenomena that is unseen but felt. Hala’s work is intuitive, experimental and takes on many forms from prints to sculpture.
