*Standing for quasi-stellar radio source, Quasars got their name because they looked starlike when astronomers first began to notice them in the late 1950s and early 60s. But they aren’t stars, quasars are  the extremely luminous centres of galaxies in their infancy, active galactic nucleus – each with their own tale to tell.

GAKKO

Carolin Schnurrer is a London and Berlin-based artist, DJ (alias GAKKO), designer, and instrument builder, producing sensory experiences with a variety of media, from sound performance and installation art to moving images. In her artistic research, she creates electronic instruments that incorporate human skin into her music-making process: Providing a platform for the audience to actively shape and manipulate the sounds she produces in real time by engaging in tactile interactions with one another on a transformative odyssey through synthetic, sensual, and otherworldly sonic landscapes.

Arna Beth

Arna Beth (b. 1997) is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker from Iceland, working predominantly with digital mediums. She focuses on escapist metaphysical realities, speculative fiction, queer autonomy, the mysticism of cyberspaces and the atmospherics of the sublime. She has exhibited in Decoratelier, Brussels; Akademie der Künste, Berlin and worked with artists and collectives across Europe, developing a plethora of projects within the scope of music industries, films and installation works.

Manuka Honey

Having delivered the sensual energy of perreo to Berlin's legendary Panorama Bar, Unsound in Kraków and countless other clubs and festivals, Manuka Honey isn't afraid to buck tradition. A DJ, producer, multi-disciplinary artist and professional astrologer, Marissa Malik was born and raised in the US, before she relocated to London, bringing her hot, humid aura to rainy England. She swiftly co-founded the capital's burgeoning SUZIO collective and club night, a space for queer Latin American artists to celebrate their identity and heritage, and has spent the last few years sharpening her production skills, dropping an acclaimed slew of singles, remixes and EPs.
