public notice is an exciting and unconventional art project that places artworks in the windows of independent business across East London from 20th - 30th August.
About
‘In recent times, experiencing less hectic lives, we gave ourselves permission to slow down and truly observe the world around us. As society begins returning to what is considered ‘normal’, public notice encourages us to extend this way of seeing. By punctuating our daily lives with art, we are reminded to slow down and observe. To stop and notice.’
Championing emerging artists and independent businesses, at a critical time for both, public notice celebrates East London and the importance of art to everyday life.
This group exhibition will be showcasing the work of the following emerging artists: Harriet Abbott, Euphrosyne Andrews, Connie Burlton, Nicole Coson, Lydia Hamblet, Alice Hartley, Jessica Jane-Charlston, Januario Jano, Seungwon Jung, Sofie Keller, Kath Lovett, Jonathan McCree, Isobel Napier, Sophie Nathan King, Alexandra Searle, Alex Simpson and Andrea V Wright.
