An exclusive preview of Australian artist Brooklyn Whelan's debut show at Nelly Duff accompanied by drinks from London Fields Brewery.

We firmly believe in the ‘start as you mean to go on’ mantra, which is why for our first show of 2019 we are incredibly excited to announce we will be hosting an exclusive collection of brand new works from Brooklyn Whelan this March.One of Australia’s leading contemporary artists, Whelan totally reinvents the landscape genre with his futuristic, vibrant and oh-so-cool skyscapes. It seems apt that these sublime and wandering cloud scenes should be originated in Australia with its endless horizons and vast open skies, although Whelan imagines his sky scenes, plucking storms and swirling clouds from his minds eye. Having collaborated with some of the worlds biggest brands, such as Adidas, Samsung and Universal Records, Whelan is no small fish. His masterful depictions retain all the grace and lightness of real skyscapes, but it is the inherent masculinity and electricity that Whelan imbues his pieces with that sets them apart from other contemporary works.
For the first time at Nelly Duff this spring Whelan will be showcasing a host of new original canvases and exclusive editions over the space of our entire second floor. From the 7th – 14th of March we will play host to ‘Pressure’, Whelan’s first evEry show at Nelly Duff. With a Private View being held on the evening of Thursday 7th March (spaces are limited), you will be able to come and see the show free for the next week. All artworks will be able to purchase on the night of the Private View, and for any exclusive pre-sale information please contact hello@nellyduff.com.
