About

The time is ripe for a respectful, equal and consensual presentation of feminine pleasure, as well as of all genders and diversity. On the 21st of October 2017 the feminist porn movie award “PorYes” will be presented in Berlin for the fifth time. Another piece of alternative- and porn movie history. Under the auspices of film prize winner Ulla Stöckl a competent jury honors presentations of people of different generations and cultures. The award was initiated by the educational activist, sexologist and communication expert Dr. Laura Méritt and the “Freudenfluss” network.

On the jury are prominent personalities such as Professor Ula Stoeckl, awarded with the German federal film prize. She is to present the award, an oyster which is also the symbol for PorYes.

Nominated this year are – Maria Llopez (E) who founded  the artistic collective “Girlswholikeporn” at the beginning of the 2nd Millennium. Miss Naughty (AU) who stands out through a positive presentation of diverse masculinity and feminist pornography. The Pioneer, educator and artist Dorrie Lane (USA), who was one of the first woman who brought lustful masturbation in to the center of attention and is known today for her Vulva Pillows. The Berlin-based artist, musician and producer SkyDeep (DE) who focuses on the connection of social power relations and sexuality and Bishop Black (GB), known for provocative gender fluid presentations. The Canadian activist Chanelle Gallant, who established the first Feminist Pornaward in Toronto, will be honored with a special award this year.
