Pondering in Low Light brings together the work of Sarah Bowker-Jones and Mike Ryder; both artists who work with assemblies of units to orchestrate a complex and incomplete whole. Coming from the same desire for the unknown, repetition and chance are explored as strategies for enabling the unforeseen and, hence, perpetual re-thinking. For this exhibition both artists expand each others practice by inviting their idiosyncratic work to engage in dialogue. Pondering in Low Light is about possibilities.
