I can’t always explain how or why things connect within and around my practice; I have to trust that the spectator will endeavour to see beyond the isolated event.
About
To challenge contemporary spectatorship, to accede to the speed of clicking and baiting and to emerge with something rather than nothing.I began as a painter, but something has often led me to other forms. I move naively but I continue to learn. These are images of images, like a tunnel to the core.
My practice is a giving over myself to the process, to find and create another body. To find other bodies to enmesh myself in – through chance or obsession or compulsion.
My artwork needs to be inhabited by the viewer to take on meaning. Meet me in a non-place. My work waits for a viewer to complete it.
Exhibition open Thursday - Saturday 12:00 - 17:00 between 2nd and 17th February.
Private View : 1st February 19:00
