This body of work includes select landscapes within the United States along side Portraits of Iconic Contemporary Artists. All Photos were taken between 2015-2017 in New York, Colorado and California. 35mm Point and Shoot.

The Camera has been Essential to my studio practice of photo based painting and drawing for 15+ years. In the last few years I’ve rediscovered the importance of the photograph in my personal life. All too often using the photo as reference to produce a painting and deeming the painting more important than the Image itself. More than ever i feel the need to let the photo stand on its own.
