Nudity in art will always be a complex issue when you consider issues of censorship, gender roles, physical ideals, and exploitation mostly of the female form. It isn’t often that you see men fighting for their right to be nude; it has been women on the front lines of the battle to fight the objectifying of their bodies. We have invited the members of our collective to capture an element of this ever­present complexity while moving the spotlight onto the nude male form.
