Gottfried Römer uses special experimental techniques for his painto-photography. He doesn´t aim to portray realistically but puts his focus on the individual act of perception and thus creates an artistic expression of the inspiration coming from this process. Dissolving of structures and contours is characteristic for his impressionistic photography. Using light, colour and texture he creates abstract atmospheres that lead to new amazing perspectives for the viewer and provide room for individual interpretation.
