Anne Charnock presents a self-portrait-of-sorts by revealing her misgivings about her art practice. She translates her troubled thoughts into words and declares her doubts in intertwining vinyl sentences that stretch around the gallery. This ongoing Uncertainty Series is based on the Track Changes function in word processing programs. In other works, Charnock uses the translation errors between programs to convert a photographic self-portrait into pages of over-printed junk text.
