About

Centering on a renewed expressive strain of the figurative in Asian art, Oriental Beauties brings together the work of two female artists, Dorothy M Yoon of South Korea and Wen Wu of China. The exhibition (oil paint, photography and montage) explores the contrasting ways in which both women express their personal perspectives and views on beauty in relation to society, culture and temporality. Organised by M van Fullbroeck Associates for muse@EIGHT. Curated by Yu Sun.
