We are delighted to invite you to the opening event of our upcoming group exhibition where we will explore the culture around African Art.

About

African culture differs from country to country, but also within each country with a vast variety of tribes, arts, music, dance and much more. An endless range of aesthetic qualities reflects upon the whole continent, from Morocco and Yibuti through the North Africa. African art often hides a meaning or a symbolism.

Historically, art movements of the 20th century had been inspired by African art. European painters like Picasso, Matisse, Derain, Kandinsky, were impressed by the lively and powerful expression of the African art, including daring colour combinations and definite forms.

The purpose of this exhibition is to explore a variety of influences that derives from the African culture. A powerful interaction merges different cultures and leads to completely unpredictable and unprecedented art creations.

International established and emerging artists will exhibit their work across various media including sculpture, painting, drawing, photography and visual art.
We feel honoured to present talented artists around the world, from Australia and Europe to Nigeria and Kenya.
All in one distinct event at the Old Biscuit Factory in London.

We look forward to seeing you all there !!!
