AboutIf you are bursting with creativity, then the 2013 OPEN OPEN invites budding artists and enthusiasts, amateur and professional, from anywhere and any age, to bring along a piece of their art work for exhibition at the Swiss Cottage Library Gallery. Running from 20th July 17th August, this is a wonderful chance to exhibit your work for free in a contemporary gallery in central London. The idea behind the exhibition is that anyone who wants to show their work can bring it along to the gallery to be hung professionally. Registration is simple and friendly: simply turn up, complete a short form and hang your work. The Hanging Days are held at Swiss Cottage Library Gallery on Saturday 20th July 12-4pm, Saturday 27th July 12-4pm or Saturday 3rd August 12-4pm. All works must be wall based so no sculptures or free-standing works and each piece must be no more than 1x 1m in any direction. Artists will have their names displayed beside their work and organisers retain the right to refuse any work on the grounds of any offense that may be caused. Only one art piece per person, please, and it will be guaranteed to stay in the show for at least two weeks. All artists will need to collect their work on Saturday 17 August between 12 to 4pm with a tea party for exhibited artists between 1 to 2pm. All work is left at the artists own risk. For more information please visit www.camden.gov.uk/swisscottagegallery or email email@example.com. The gallery is located at Swiss Cottage Central Library, 88 Avenue Road, NW3.
