This full repertoire will include a diverse cross-section of the finest, most enigmatic and current Urban and Contemporary artists who have exhibited in the gallery during our first year.

Born out of a disused basement in Dalston, BSMT SPACE has evolved in concept as an experiential venue of absolute creative freedom.

In a whirlwind year the gallery has continually reconfigured to feature multidisciplinary shows featuring Urban art, Contemporary art, photography, Performance art, video, documentary, Conceptual art, design and illustration. Artists, or better, practitioners from the UK, Europe, the United States and Canada who tread active paths in an increasingly challenging and formulaic cultural climate.

BSMT SPACE is testament to this ethic authenticity in creative practice, and through 'ONE YEAR UNDERGROUND' we would like to celebrate the artists, writers and supporters who have enabled our vision.
