About
'Oh, What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to decieve'Private View: (One night only) April 11th 6:00PM - LATE
Deriving from Sir Walter Scott's poem Marmion,
James Owens and Peter Carrick present new work that refers to the biased and imagined retelling of stories.
The exhibition introduces a variety of characters through painting, sculpture and stained glass that connect through a personal sound experience. This questions the importance of context within figurative work and the necessity of real life documentary and voyeurism to create an artificial narrative.
