Ply Gallery presents 'Objectification of Women' exhibition by M J Waldner. A playful but political exploration of the commonplace scenes the objectification of women lingers in the fringes of our everyday experience.

About

What shapes a woman? Are women shaped by society to become objects?

The artist MJ Waldner playfully explores the theme of routine objectification of women through the media, which has become so common place we barely notice it anymore. Already glorified for their bodies alone, by blanking their heads and their identities these subjects become even more obsolete and faceless in the viewer’s eyes.

'Objectification of Women' is multi-media art show aimed at probing the boundary of our society's indifference to the objectification of women. Whether objectifying or liberating, sex sells and ART IS FOR SALE.
