Find out what happens behind the scenes when over 100 North Yorkshire artists, from painters and potters, to silversmiths and sculptors, open up their studios this June.
About
For two weekends, Sat 6 - Sun 7 June, and Sat 13 - Sun 14 June 2015, 116 artists across the region, from Skipton to Scarborough, will be inviting people to see the creative process at first hand - from initial inspiration to completed work.
The event brings together artists working in many different styles and materials, including printmakers, hatmakers, woodcarvers and photographers, all keen to reveal the imagination and hard graft behind each piece of art.
'North Yorkshire Open Studios offers so much more than a trip to a gallery,' says event director Rick Faulkner of Gargrave based Art Connections 'It's a chance to talk to the artists, find out what makes them tick and learn about the techniques they use in their work.
