Nick will be displaying so of his work in the gallery. Heres a few words from the artist him self. For the last few years I have been painting everything from comic, sweets, figure ,landscape, and abstracts the abstracts I'm still working on .I tend to paint stuff I grew up with or just a general interest for a quirky perpective on things .sweets for the color and and the demand it took to show the wonderfull colours and textures we take for granted . sweets really are an everyday thing object you may say. Comics again wonderfull colour line and strength,my favourite being the 70s due to simple style and line work ,but impact full and fun to paint .I think paintings should say alot to people but be fun too .Over the years I painted alot of figurative work and sold many pieces around Leeds harrogate and in the south too.5 years painting horses some well known but really no real love of horses so I moved into landscapes and figure work .so really quite eclectic always trying new things hopefully new ideas to come
