About
After many conversations through Skype and brainstorms their thoughts concluded with 'Ghosts'. As they both have pasts and presents that sometimes haunt them, it is also memories, places and political changes that affect how they place themselves in where they live and work.
“I suppose, for me, the ghost is the idea that your present experience increasingly becomes defined by loss. But never just your own loss, it’s everyone else’s losses as well, even though you can’t see them.”
“For me… ummm… I guess a ghost is something abstract, more like a presence beyond what we can physically see… possibly relating to an emotion that’s connected to a moment of time…”
“Yeah, exactly, like an emotion outside of yourself that you can’t get beyond?”
“I guess so, but also that it’s a state of mind that you are not even consciously aware of. That it’s not just something you can go beyond. It’s there and you have to deal with it.”
