About
My works are described as the experiments of a mad scientist. Through a process of self-reflection, I have been able to create art that not only represents the intricacies of the daily struggle, but that also explores the interdependence and amalgamation of those parts of me that make me who I am.
Amongst the chaos of these creations, I have strived to see the beauty of intricacy by using layers with-in all my works and presenting not only in the Art, but detailed messy methodology.
I am a Father, Husband “to be”, Brother and Son. These identities are often conflated and have all contributed to the artist I am today. This journey through the degree programme thus far has been littered with influences as diverse as Van Gough, Cézanne, Harding and Paul Oz.
Since I was a teenager I have also been fascinated by the modern day conceptual artists. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes corrupted into the works on display. As momentary forms become distorted through frantic and personal practice, the viewer is left with a testament to the darkness of our existence.
