About
‘My Life as a Bird’ is a forthcoming solo exhibition by Asian born, UK based artist Madi Acharya- Baskerville whose work explores the human condition through found materials. Her work focuses on environmental concerns, migration and exile and gender issues. Painting, beadwork and unusual juxtaposition of materials feature as a constant reminder of her roots in South Asian culture. This exhibition will feature a combination of paintings and mixed media sculptural works including a new series inspired by birds.
