Paintings by Milkie.
The works of my Happy place reflect on feelings within the unconscious, using motifs of human faces and form acting as a familiar grounding point to project these feelings.’
My Happy place conveys ideas of the happy and the sad, exploring the relationship between how we view ourselves and how we feel within ourselves. Practising predominantly in spray paint as well as charcoal and oils, dark imagery is paired with the happy colours of graffiti culture.
