About
Traveling from UCR ARTS at the University of California, Riverside, the East Coast debut of Mundos Alternos features more than 50 new and re-imagined work that employs the imagery of science fiction to explore the colonial enterprise that shaped the Americas, different iterations of history, and “alienating” ways of being. Mundos Alternos also includes satellite installations and programs at The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art, Museum of the Moving Image, Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art & Storytelling, and the New York Hall of Science.
