MULTIMEDIA WORKSHOPS:
Each workshop you will explore a range of techniques and ideas including
-Printmaking
-Photography
-Painting
-Collage
-Digital Media
These free workshops will be inspired by the local area, its past-present-future heroines and the built environment. The artworks made in the workshops will form part of a collaborative procession and exhibition on June 14th. Please feel free to bring your own photos, stories and artworks to these workshops.
The outcome of the arts workshops will be a procession around the area to honour the creation of ‘Alberta Gallion’. The Procession will include banners, soundtracks, costumes and artworks made during the workshops. It is an event to celebrate the community of the new built environment of Royal Albert Wharf and its new heroine ‘Alberta Gallion’.
Everyone is free to join the procession on June 14th. Come walk, dance, meet the community and welcome ‘Alberta Gallion’ to Royal Albert Wharf.
