Moving Mountains takes the motif of the mountain as a point of departure and invites visitors to explore notions of time, scale, stillness and movement.
The artists use functional materials and simple techniques to explore the rhythm of the landscape creating a suite of playful, interactive, contemplative and meditative artworks.
Andrew Cooper’s installation, tricks the eye in a complex play of line and colour and
Zimoun’s acoustic sculptures reverberate a frenetic, yet controlled system of beats, whilst
Max Roth and Harald Reichenbach encourage you to stand still and observe. The exhibition includes Harald Reichenbachs ‘Mobile Minaret’,
Wandelbar art International is a pan European artists collective and networking group primarily based in Switzerland, directed by Marc Rome and Harald Reichenbach. This exhibition at BayArt includes the work of Max Roth, Harald Reichenbach, Zimoun, Paco Simon, Chris Kettle, and Andrew Cooper.
Also to be viewed is Gstaadfilm. This is an international film festival for films by artists - Directed by Marc Rome - and takes place every two years in Gstaad, Switzerland where can be found the origins of Wandelbar Art International.
