rosenfeld porcini gallery invites its followers to attend the opening reception on Thursday 26th February from 7-9pm; Movement in Space is presented at the Austrian Cultural Forum's unique exhibition space in London.
- About the artist
Reducing his chosen material to a maximum level of fragility and malleability, Austrian artist Herbert Golser transposes wood into extraordinary organic sculptures, which appear both completely new yet recognisable from an ancient past.
Herbert Golser currently lives and works in Klein-Pöchlarn, Lower Austria. He attended the University of Applied Arts in Vienna as well as the Technical School for Wood and Stone Sculpture, Hallein. His work is featured in multiple public spaces in Austria, Hungary and Italy and in Austrian churches. In 2013 Herbert Golser was part of The-Solo-Project in Basel. Herbert Golser will have his first solo exhibition at rosenfeld porcini in May 2015.
