Guillem Ramos-Poqui (MA(RCA), PhD Fine Art Painting) grew up in Barcelona where he was a leading figure in the Catalan Conceptual and Povera Art avant-garde. He settled in London in 1968 and has exhibited internationally.
About
Through a poetic interplay of symbols, his paintings, collages, drawings and assemblages explore the nature of art, reality and perception. Layers of texture and material, including tempera, oils, wax and ephemeral found objects, combine to tell stories about memory, mythology and the unconscious.
