About
This powerful exhibition explores the impact of notions of modern masculinity on mental health. It features over 20 works of poetry and visual art made by CoolTan Arts participants, all of whom have lived experience of mental health distress.
The exhibition is being held on the occassion of Internatinal Men's Day, which aims to celebrate the achievements of men, promote gender equality, and raise awareness of men's health.
The Opening Event on 23 November from 1 to 4pm will include:
- Panel discussion with professional artists and mental health practitioners looking at modern masculinity and how it effects art making
- Free Health Checks
- Art Making Activities themed around men's mental health
- Poetry Readings
