MIS-SHAPES explores the work of 3 London-based artists, all using carefully collected found materials and imagery to create photographic and sculptural works.
Ivo Fontao is based in Brixton. He creates traditional and digital collages using found imagery and also creates the artwork for 1980, the Porto based record label he founded with Nave Mãe.
Mark Lungley is currently an MA Fine Art student at Chelsea College of Art, he is interested in artificial found objects and materials, how these have the potential to subvert more traditional genres of sculpture - in a bid to make something 'new'.
Siannon Saunders is also currently studying MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art, her work attempts to articulate nostalgia and ideas surrounding memory through installation, paint and illustration aswell as the use of found materials.
