​The Summer group exhibition of Contemporary Art

About

This year Leyden Gallery brings together an outstanding combination of artists working across a vibrant range of mediums. The title evokes both a temporal and emotional state – It is both a fixed and unstable term with a thread of excessiveness running through, with feelings of pleasure and discomfiture. The Private View happening on the evening of the Summer Solstice occurs at the moment of maximum light just as time takes a turns toward darkness. This co-mixture of light and dark is at the heart of Midsummer Madness.
