About
Steve studied at Sutton Coldfield School of Art and Stafford University. He is currently a Tutor and Demonstrator at Bournville School of Art. Over the past ten years, Steve has concentrated on landscapes. His approach is not purely observational. He does not stand in a field and record his sensations. Instead, he scrutinises the countryside from the point of view of an urban city dweller. This approach allows Steve to build a tension between the organic content of the natural world and the man-made environment.
