May Hands: Bleach

Roman Road is pleased to present Bleach, our forthcoming exhibition featuring recent works by British artist May Hands. Curated by Marisa Bellani, the show comprises a unique site-specific installation as well as pieces from the artist’s Feather Duster Painting (2014), Objects (2015)Napoli Street Object (2015) and Bucket (2015) series. Through an intriguing and vibrant display, Bleach examines May Hands’ compelling exploration of the inextricable relationship between materials and consumerism. The exhibition is accompanied by a beautifully designed publication including over 100 images and a brilliant essay by international curator Adam Carr. The opening reception commences at 6pm on Wednesday 24 June and will be in the company of the artist.
