About
Everything Martin Sexton produces is heavy with myth and inherent narrative. He works at the interface of ancient history, metaphysics and aspects of the politics of aesthetics all of which are approached with the wilful extremism of rock n'roll.For the Economist Plaza commission, Sexton will create an oversized camera with a viewing lens revealing a sculpture of Karl Marx, reminiscent both of his iconic bust in Highgate cemetery alongside Antonioni's 60's classic movie BlowUp.
