MARK LEWIS EXHIBITION
About
CINECITY presents the internationally renowned artist Mark Lewis. His films explore the intriguing relationships between film, space, place and time with cityscapes as a recurring subject. The Brighton exhibition presents three of his films: the World Premiere of HENDON FC, the UK Premiere of NATHAN PHILIPS SQUARE, A WINTER NIGHT?S SKATING and one of his earlier key works - NORTH CIRCULAR (2000).
Lewis? carefully crafted and meditative films have high production values employing ?pure? cinema techniques reminiscent of classic movie-making such as 360-degree pans, tracks and back projection.
