About

Mariposa is Crossie's second one-woman show. The show will run at Epoch Art Gallery from 28th September until 27th October 2012.

'I'm currently in a continual flow of representing winged creatures of all kinds. I make no apologies for a particular obsession with butterflies, exploring them both as an iconic symbol and for their exquisitely fleeting natural fragility. I completely identify with these delicate & beautiful creatures as they transform & emerge from their chrysalis to take a whole new direction in life.

Feathering their wings to land lightly with such grace, they almost seem to be made out of lace..'
