Danish artist Marie Raffn has spent almost two months in Prám Studio, through which she worked on her exhibition called Bladdernut Hum. Marie Raffn got inspired by a the book Klokočí (Bladdernut) written by Jiří Suchý.
About
Marie often works with word, font, its visuality, rythmics and meaning. One might say, that the title of the exhibiton could answer the creative process, which bring the exhibtion alive. Bluddernut Hum might remind us of thoughts and words which presents concious and associated relationships, which have determined final set of the exhibition.
Studio PRÁM is located in an industrial neighbourhood and that also make an point in visual part of the installation. Conscious connection with engineering history of Vysočany and Libeň, leads Marie to use material such as metal. Metal on its own and as well its sound, which stays with you through out the whole art installation.
Marie Raffn (* 1991) holds an MFA from Malmö Art Academy, SE (2016). During her studies she did an exchange at Cooper Union School of Art, New York (2013) and Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Vienna (2015).
