Introducing Making Play, the South London Gallery's new education initiative, a project that aims to bring together children's play and contemporary art practice.

This event introduces Making Play with a discussion around current government play initiatives and controversial public debates around public space, risk and participation. Speakers include curator Kit Hammonds, author of The Play Ethic Pat Kane and artist-in-residence Andrea Mason.
