First there was Manchester, then came Cardiff and now, due to an unprecedented demand, Magda Archer comes to Jealous Gallery on Curtain Road, Shoreditch with a new mix of both limited edition prints and original paintings, some of which will be available to buy for the very first time!
About
Arst and print maker, Magda creates kitsch and colourful works inspired by her exploration and revisualisation of vintage and popular paraphernalia in western culture. Through Jealous, who frequently produce her limited edition prints in their Print Studio, Magda is back in the creative heart of East London with an assault on the peepers via saccharine-soaked, candy-coloured scenarios, statements & speechbubble philosophy which draws upon vintage packaging, retro graphics and a lemon sharp sweetness that belies the bitter truth underneath.
