About
An exhibition of work by students of Morley College Printmaking department. This exhibition shows a wide range of traditional and non-traditional approaches to print, from artists’ books to sculptural objects, film and installation. This year is the 125 anniversary of the founding of Morley College and a number of the works on show are direct responses to a brief to explore the theme 125.
The Morley College Printmaking Department has had an exciting year so far. The newly refurbished print studio offers a wide range of courses, taught by a professional team of highly experienced artists and printmakers.
Students come to the department from diverse backgrounds. Some of the works in the exhibition are new prints, from new students; others demonstrate the culmination of many years of work, by artists who have attended classes for a number of years. The exhibition will showcase the work of Patsy Wright, at 96 years old, the oldest member of our department.
