An exciting new summer exhibition of mixed media artwork by adults attending creative courses at PBHA’s workshop in Hoxton, in partnership with the WEA. Jam-packed with an eclectic array of original textiles, prints, paintings and drawings
About
Outpost proudly presents London Seen, an exciting new summer exhibition of mixed media artwork by adults attending creative courses at PBHA’s workshop in Hoxton. Co-curated by the students, the gallery is jam-packed with an eclectic array of original textiles, prints, paintings and drawings, exploring personal observations and experiences of living in London. With something for everyone, techniques and inspiration vary from traditional to experimental, amusing to thought-provoking, and from cityscapes to fish n’ chips.
London Seen exhibition is an opportunity for students to showcase and celebrate their artwork produced over the past year in our weekly creative classes, taught in partnership with the WEA. Representing the diversity of new experiences, skills and self-expression that has been developed.
It's our pleasure to be able to share these achievements with the local community. Most of the artwork is for sale, priced from £40 to £160, and purchases help raise money to provide creative courses at PBHA, supporting London residents to develop their personal potential. Why not adorn your wall with a unique piece of artwork from London Seen?
Alongside homes and support, Peter Bedford Housing Association offers tenants and participants a holistic approach to recovery and wellbeing. PBHA offers a range of formal and informal learning opportunities, providing a welcoming, safe, friendly and inclusive space for learners with mixed abilities to gain skills and confidence, and meet new people.
PBHA’s art studio and joinery workshop in Hoxton provides opportunities for people to discover, develop or reconnect with their creative abilities. A range of our courses are taught in partnership with the WEA. Community engagement, and health and wellbeing lie at the centre of these courses, seeking to educate and support adults to build skills to work independently.
