An evening of thoughtful conversation between Krasimira Butseva, Rashida Mangera and Maryam Wahid; each presenting their photography and elaborating on how the theme of “Identity” has shaped their work. A panel-led discussion. Q&A will follow.
OVER THE HILL AND FAR AWAY - Friday 4 October 2019 at 7pm
An evening with Tim Andrews, a former solicitor diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2005. Presenting his decade long photographic project “Over the Hill.” Astrid Schultz and Louise Haywood-Schiefer will join Tim in conversation led by Nicholas Laborie. Q&A will follow.
FILM AND DARKROOM SEMINAR - Saturday 5 October 2019 at 10:00am - 1:00pm
The seminar includes an introduction to film and film cameras; starting analogue photography without a darkroom; the ins-and-outs of darkroom photography; concluding with DO TRY THIS AT HOME - alternative processes without a darkroom.
