Live Stream // Fever Dream will explore the submission to the ritual of media in the era of Trump. At the event, various emerging New York artists react to the submission to and worship of media–which is changing the face of fact, opinion, and self-expression. The event will represent the diverse ideas of over 30 artists–a reflection of the expanded and scattered sources of information brought about by the internet era and its use in political and social thought.
Live Stream // Fever Dream will be an immersive night featuring live performances, installations, film screenings, music, and much more. By allowing artists to explore the concept across multiple different media and art forms, the event will create a church to the sensation of submission and worship, encouraging viewers to worship alongside the artists: to feel what they feel. The event will take place at the Gowanus Ballroom, a large former cannonball factory.
